Pilot testing with Young People – workshops on national level
Following the training course, participating youth workers conducted pilot testing workshops with young people at national level in both partner countries. These workshops aimed to apply and evaluate the newly developed methods in real youth work settings.
In total 154 young people aged 14 – 30, including members of ecovillages and sustainability networks, university students, people with mental health issues, school class from adult education, people with Autism, youth clubs’ members, young people with disabilities, took part in workshops and long-term programs. The workshops used nature-based practices derived from the Nature-Based Map of the Human Psyche to address developmental needs and support personal growth.
The pilot testing phase allowed the project team to monitor impact, collect feedback, and further refine the methods. Young participants reported improved well-being, increased self-confidence, sense of belonging, and clarity of purpose. At the same time, youth workers gained confidence and practical experience in applying innovative tools with diverse target groups.
